Rivers CP Breaks Silence On Murder of Chima Ikwunado By E-Crack Unit

Rivers State commissioner of police Mohammed Dandaura has met with family members of late Chima Ikwunado at the State Police Headquarters at Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.

This is the first time the commissioner of police is interfacing with the family since #JusticeForChima began trending on social media.

The Commissioner who condoled with the family over the death of their son said he became aware of the incident after it began trending on social media.

The commissioner of police noted that the Police is poised to ensure all those involved in the matter are investigated and if found guilty persecuted.

He said that he has been directed by the force headquarters to investigate the matter and submit a report on it.

The Police Commissioner also appealed to the family to exercise patience while investigation and autopsy are being carried out to enable them properly persecute the matter.

Meanwhile, the General Overseer of OPM Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere said they want justice to be done over the death of late Chima Ikwunado.

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere made this known to newsmen after a visiting the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State Mohammed Dandaura.

The meeting was facilitated by the traditional ruler of Ubima and General overseer of Omega Power Ministry Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.
