Last night at the Eko Convention Centre, Nigerians proved it again to Africa that Nigerian music remains the unbeatable giant in Africa.
As our Grammy-nominated Burna Boy went home with three awards, Teni, Davido, Tiwa Savage and DJ Spinall did not disappoint their fans as they clutched Female MVP, Digital Artiste of the year, Video of the year and African DJ of the year awards respectively.
With the manner at which every Nigerian was declaring their mannerless tendencies, it wasn’t surprising at all last night when Naira Marley; the king of the no manners movement grabbed his first award.
Other new award winners from Nigeria include; Joeboy, Fireboy and Rema.
Trust Bonang Matheba; the event host gave an impeccable show. What is show business without a show of glitz and glam after all?
