It was an eventful night at the 2019 Garden City Achievement Award, aka GACAA awards as influential people in the state were recognized and presented with several awards for their accomplishments.

The award, according to the organizers, is aimed at recognizing notable patriots and distinguished organizations that have contributed in times past and those that are contributing presently to the advancement of Rivers State.

Those who won big at the award night include Ojukaye Flag Amachree, Evan Bipi and a host of others.

Asari-Toru Local Government Area emerged the Outstanding local government area of the year 2019.

Dr Ipalibo George emerged the Grassroot man of the year 2019

Hon Evans Bipi emerged the Accessible and people’s friend lawmaker of the year

Ukwubenda.com won the Garden city readers choice blog of the year 2019
