A High Court in Port Harcourt has declared His Royal Majesty, Eze Chike Amadi-Worlu, as the rightful occupant of the Nye-Ali Apara Ekini-Igbo Kingdom stool in Rumuigbo in Obio Akpor local government area of the state.

The Apara Ekini-Igbo stool has been in dispute between Eze Chike Amadi-Worlu and Morrison Amadi for over three years.

Eze Amadi-Worlu had approached the court to challenge his unlawful removal from the stool as Paramount Ruler of Apara Ekini-Igbo Kingdom.

Temple Amadi, Counsel to His Royal Majesty Eze Chike Amadi-Worlu, said the judgement is well deserved, as the ruling will bring peace to Ekini-Igbo Community, stressing that the ruling which is based on truth was against the person who was purportedly crowned to replace his client.

Counsel to the Defendants, Dickson Owekwulo, told our reporter Tina Amanda that the court in it Wisdom has applied the law where necessary, adding the court ruling states that the claimant made out their case contrary to the position of the Defendant.

According to him, he will study the ruling with his client before taking further action on whether to appeal the judgement.

On his part, Eze Chike Amadi-Worlu expressed happiness over the judgment which he termed as a victory gotten by the truth.
