Just In: Police arrest taxi driver for abducting three school children in Port Harcourt

A commercial taxi driver has been arrested by the police for allegedly abducting three schoolchildren in Port Harcourt.

The abducted students were from the Kingdom Heritage school in Diobu.

Eyewitnesses said the taxi driver abducted the three school children from a woman who was about taking the cad on a drop after school at D/L Port Harcourt on Friday.

It was gathered that the woman put the children in the cab and turned to enter the cab before the driver reportedly drove off with the Children to an unknown destination.

However, a few hours later, the driver drove back to the same point where the distrust mother of the children was crying hoping he won’t be recognised.

But on sighting the driver’s face and the colour of the cab, she recognized him and raised alarm prompting onlookers to apprehend him.

Theportcitynews gathered that the mod interrogated the driver who that the three children are locked up in his house.
