Awara vs Wike: Tribunal to deliver judgment tomorrow

The Rivers State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Port Harcourt will tomorrow, Saturday, 5th October deliver judgment on the petition brought by the candidate of Action African Congress AAC BIOKPOMABO AWARA against the victory of Governor NYESOM WIKE.

BIOKPOMABO AWARA had gone to the tribunal to challenge the victory of Governor NYESOM WIKE during the March 9th governorship election in Rivers State.

The AAC candidate is asking the tribunal to nullify the election or declare him winner of the March 9th governorship election in Rivers State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC had declared Governor Nyesom Wike winner of the March 9th Governorship Election after polling the highest number of votes during the process.

The three man panel led by Justice Kingsley Ojiakor is expected to deliver the judgment tomorrow from 9am at the premises of Rivers State High Court.
