A pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God has been stabbed to death in Port Harcourt.
The yet-to-be-identified pastor was killed during a night vigil in one of the church’s parishes at Danjuma Street, Odili Road, Port Harcourt.
The incident happened at about 3 am on Friday when a strange man walked into the church premises and stabbed the pastor.
A source said the strange man stabbed the gateman first before walking into the church to stab the pastor.
Nnamdi Omoni, the Rivers State Police Command’s Spokesman confirmed the incident.
Omoni said the command has put machinery in place to arrest the killer.
He added that investigation has been launched into the matter.
