Another lady killed in an hotel in Port Harcourt

A 27-year-old lady, identified as Blessing has been killed in an undisclosed hotel in Rumuomasi Port Harcourt.

He mutilated body was discovered in the hotel room on Wednesday, it was gathered.

The deceased who hails from Akwa Ibom state was a former waitress at an eatery who resigned her job a month before her death, her friends say.

They said her killing was for ritual purposes as her body parts were harvested.

Her killing is the 7th mysterious deaths of young ladies in Port Harcourt in a space of three months.

Police have made no arrests since the trend began, fueling rumours that a sophisticated syndicate is behind the murders.

A friend of the deceased who spoke to theportcitynews on the condition of anonymity said she was killed by a man who tricked her to a hotel in Rumuomasi.

She said her killer dumped her in the wardrobe of the hotel room, adding that the hotel staff discovered her remains after it began decomposing, producing an offensive odour.

She said that her current employer had declared her missing and had been looking for her for five days before the news of her death broke out.

The Police in Rivers State was yet to react to the killings as at the time of filing this report.
