Nigerian singer and superstar, Tiwa Savage, on Wednesday, cancelled her performance in South Africa over the xenophobic attacks ravaging the country.
She said she would no longer be performing at a festival scheduled to hold in Johannesburg later this month.
She joined a long list other Nigerian artists who have criticised the attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
Burna Boy had on Tuesday vowed never to visit the country again unless the country does something about the growing xenophobia.
She tweeted: “I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason, I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this”
