The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, her presidential candidate in the just concluded 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, have filed 43-paged final written addresses at the presidential election tribunal.
Atiku, his party, explained in the addresses that they were robbed of victory in the February 23 election in a total of eleven states.
According to them, the states are Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano. Others are Katsina, Kebbi, Niger, Yobe, and Zamfara.
Atiku and PDP through their lead counsel, Dr Livy Uzoukwu (SAN), alleged that a more realistic computation of the election results would give them the margin of a lead of 222,332 votes.
The petitioners are contending that the correct computation showed that they scored 9,426,082 votes against Buhari’s 9,203,750, Punch Reports.
They are by their position challenging the election of Muhammadu as President.
They also all that the president is not qualified to contest any election giving his lack of necessary certificates that will enable him to do so.
