The Munch It Challenge which was sponsored by Munch It Nigeria, made Mercy and Ike each a million naira richer when they were declared winners after the Munch It challenge.
Before the challenge started, the Pepper Dem housemates were paired in twos. This is how they were paired: Benita and Gedoni – team VeDoni, Diane and Frodd – team DiOdd, Tacha and Elozonam’s – team TaLo, Mike and Enkay – MiKay, Omashola and Cindy – OmaNdy, Mercy and Ike – MerIk, Joe and Jackye – JoeKye, Khafi and Sir Dee – team KhaDee and Esther and Seyi – team SeSther.
These housemates carried out their first challenge which was showing off their artistic side by using Munch It snacks to give an aesthetic outlook on whatever topic/ thing they choose to paint or decorate about.
Some of the teammates artistic decorations were a beauty to behold while some others weren’t so wonderful.
All clad in their Munch It attires, the housemates performed the last lap of the challenge entertaining viewers by displaying several dance steps and dance types with their teammates. Team TaLo blessed viewers with their dance and kiss steps. Team JoKye gave us the calpso dance and you can’t help but feel their timely steps.
What gave most teams great difficulty was spinning the hula hoop around both teammates at the same time. Some teammates were seen using their hands for support while spinning while others saw the hula hoop fly from their waist off their head.
After the challenge, viewers were asked to go to Munch It Instagram page and vote for their favourite team. This voting was done by first following the Munch It Instagram page then commenting with your favourite couple’s name.
It was not surprising that team MerIke came out top of the group; their fan base is said to be as strong as a fortified castle.
Some viewers were unhappy with the voting process because it gave the favourite couple an edge above other contestants.
Mercy and her Ike are obviously not in that house to play. What team were you rooting for? Were you disappointed with the outcome of the challenge?
