RIWAMA cancels tomorrow’s sanitation exercise.

The monthly sanitation exercise earlier billed to hold across the state tomorrow, Saturday, July 27, 2019 has been cancelled.

The Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam said the cancellation of the exercise was due to official state event taking place tomorrow, July 27, 2019 in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

While stating that this announcement supersedes previous announcement on the sanitation exercise, the RIWAMA boss however urged those living and doing businesses in the State to keep their surroundings clean.

He further advised all residents in the state to cultivate good sanitary habits by ensuring that their surroundings are clean at all times and emptying their gutters and drainage systems to allow for free flow of water.
