Twitter on fire as Senate president appoints Buhari, Tinubu’s critic as aide

The decision of the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, to appoint Mr Festus Adebayo as special adviser on media and publicity has been met with strict opposition on social media.

Dr Betty Okoroh, the Special Adviser to the Senate President on Administration, had in a statement on Tuesday, announced the appointment of Adebayo to head the Senate President’s media team

Adedayo, who is a holder of PhD in Political Communication from the University of Ibadan, and a member of Editorial Board of Tribune newspapers, has been a strong critic of President Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu.
