Soldiers engage cultists in Rivers State community.

Personnel of the Nigerian Army have invaded a cultist den in Ogbologbolo community in Ahoada West local Government, Rivers state.

Eye witnesses reported that the camp was operated by one “VIP”, the suspected head of Greenlanders cult group in the area

A native of the area who pleaded anonymity explained on the phone that the cultists suffered heavy casualties from the onslaught by the soldiers with large amount of arms and ammunitions seized.
He revealed that the camp was completely destroyed by the Nigerian Army, adding that “VIP” is believed to be responsible for series of kidnapping and cult related killings in the area
The spokesperson of 6 Division Nigeria Army,Colonel Aminu Illayasu is yet to respond to several text messages sent to his mobile line for comments.
