First set of twins delivered at OPM free specialist hospital

A middle-aged woman has been delivered of twins at the newly-launched Omega Power Ministries Free Specialist Hospital at Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The happy mother was delivered of the babies on Tuesday 11th June 2019, according to the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Gift Chinyere.

He said the unnamed woman’s estimated date of delivery was 20th July but a scan revealed that the babies needed to be delivered before the term for the safety of their lives and that of their mother.

The sexes of the newborns were equally not disclosed.

According to him: “Because the goal of every pregnant woman is the safety of her baby and her life and so that the life of the said mother and babies are not endangered due to the fact that a vaginal delivery was ruled off, a successful Cesarean Session (CS) was conducted.

“It was indeed a successful operation as there was no casualty or any form of complication. The professional and qualified medical practitioners at OPM free specialist hospital, who was equal to the task, backed up by the Holy Ghost swung into action and did a neat job with ease.

“The woman and her babies are doing perfectly fine. In fact, one of the twins is underweight and is now being adequately taken care of in the skibble. The question is this, ‘where would this financially handicapped mother have gotten about N280,000 or more to do a CS?’

He congratulated the new mum and added that the free hospital is open to only less privileged women. Ante Natal care, Post Natal care, Checkups, delivery bags, feeding and everything that pertains to the delivery is totally free.

“Church denomination and religion (Christianity/Muslim) is not a disqualifying factor,” he said
