Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Sunday, approved the appointment of Dr Tammy Danagogo as the New Secretary to the State Government.
Dagogo, a former minister of sports under the administration of Goodluck Jonathan, replaces Kenneth Kobani.
Also approved is the appointment of Engr Chukwuemeka Woke as the Chief of Staff, Government House Port Harcourt
A statement by Simon Nwakaudu, the governor’s special assistant on new media, said that the two officials will be sworn in by the Rivers State Governor at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House Port Harcourt by 2pm on Monday 10th June, 2019 .
Meanwhile, Governor Wike has nominated Two persons to be appointed as Commissioners.
According, Standford Oba, the Clerk of the state House of Assembly, Dr Zacchaeus Adangor and Hon Isaac Kamalu are to appear before the House Of Assembly for screening and confirmation as Commissioners designate.
The statement also said that the Commissioner Nominees are to submit forty sets of photocopies of their credentials and tax clearance certificates to the office of the clerk and come along with original copies of their credentials.
