Friends of Amaechi donate houses to villagers

As part activities to mark his 54th, Friends of Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi donated four blocks of one bedroom flat to families in Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The beneficiaries were formerly living in shanties before providence smiled on them.

The leader of the group, Richard Ogunka, said they heard of the need from friends and thought about what they could do to help.

According to him: “It just happened that we had the means”

Speaking in Adanta, one of the towns of the beneficiary, Don Mene Piate, while handing over the keys of the flat to a beneficiary said that providence and God’s grace decided to shine on them and they ignored ego and returned back to the people.

He said: “This is the typical life of our leader, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi”

Beneficiaries were drawn from the following villages :
1. Adanta
2. Omueke
3. Ogbodo
4. Adanta.

Beneficiaries are:
1. Obinna Chukwu
2. Madam Rose Sunday
3. Mr. Peter Nwosu
