Woman asks Wike to Compel Mayor of Port Harcourt to pay her hospital bill

Mrs Paul Richael, a middle-aged woman who was shot by a police officer attached to the Mayor of Port Harcourt, Victor Ihunwo, has pleaded with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to compel the council boss to pay her hospital bill.

Mrs Richeal whose husband has been suffering from stroke for two years now said she is the breadwinner of her family and cannot cough up the said amount of money.

She was shot by a stray bullet from the local council boss police orderly when the local council boss went on clearance exercise of road-side traders at Mile 1.

She was subsequently taken to the hospital by the council boss who she alleged abandoned her.

Mrs Richeal is calling on Rivers state Governor to compel Victor Ihunwo to pay the hospital bill amounts to 90,000 naira so that she can go home.

She said that she needs to recover and start her trade as her family depends on her meagre income to survive.
