Rivers United’s mercurial midfielder Ogar David is rewarding fans who have supported him and the club with a free ticket for the remaining home games in the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL.
The Pride of Rivers will today at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium Port Harcourt in a Nigeria Professional League Matchday 18 fixture confront Enyimba FC of ABA in what Ogar has termed “one of the biggest test of the season”.
All the fans will need to do is to put on a replica of Rivers United jersey with his name (Ogar D) and number (4) on it.
A statement made available by the player said: “Today we face one of our biggest test of the season against Enyimba of ABA. As the season draws to its last match days”.
”I want to say thanks to everyone that has supported me and the team this season, and on that note for everyone of our supporter that has a replica jersey of Rivers United with my name(Ogar. D) and number(4) on it, it will be a free gate pass for such persons today and the remaining home games of the season”.
”Someone has been saddled with the duty at the gate to issue out tickets to those with the Jersey. Thanks and God bless you all for supporting me and Rivers United” he stated.
Rivers United is currently sitting on the seventh position at the NPFL group A table with 23 points.
