RIWAMA Issues 48-Hour Deadline To Defaulting Service Providers

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to some Service Providers who are yet to rid their operational Areas/Zones of dirt.

The ultimatum is to ensure that all waste in the affected Zones/Areas are removed within 48 hours from the date of this announcement, or have their contracts terminated.

The affected Service Providers are:

1. MANKOCHE VENTURES NIG. Ltd., covering Oyigbo Road on the Left.

2. IBEXCO NIG. LTD., covering Oyigbo Road on the Right.

3. EMMACHEARC GLOBAL, covering Eneka, Igwuruta Road and Oroigwe axis.

4. JOACME NIGERIA LTD., covering Oyigbo Junction to Imo River, including Oyigbo Location Road to Umuebulu Road.

5. SIDAFECO VENTURES LIMITED., covering Mile One Diobu and environs

Obuah in a statement signed by his special assistant on media and publicity, Jerry Needam, said the Agency can no longer condone nonperforming Service Providers, who would not take their jobs seriously, warning all Service Providers doing business with the Agency to be alive to their responsibilities by keeping their Zones/Areas clean at all times or have their contracts terminated.
