Lawmaker beats keke rider to near death in Port Harcourt (Pictures)

A yet to be identified lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly, on Thursday, attacked and injured a keke rider in Port Harcourt.

Our correspondent reports that the incident occured during a tensed traffic build-up at Tank Junction along East-West road, Rumuokwurusi, Port Harcourt.

The Assembly member together with his boys beat the Keke rider to near death for not defying traffic in order to give them right of passage.

They were riding in a black Toyota Corolla with the registration number 15-RV.

Our correspondent reports that the lawmaker also bragged openly that he was going to kill the Keke rider as they manhandled him until blood started gushing out of his head and nostrils.

The Police subsequently intervened and took them to the station but promptly released the lawmaker and his boys.
