Cultists on Saturday, beheaded a 28-year-old man in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The rampaging cultists also killed three other persons including a teenage girl.
One of the victims identified as Buabari had his head severed from the rest of his body while his innards were also cut out.
The rest were slaughtered to death with machetes
Theportcitynews gathered that the incident occurred in Luawii in Babbe district of Khana LGA.
The motive for the killings is not yet known but sources attributed it to a reprisal by rival cultists following spate of cult-related murders in the area.
A community source said one of the deceased body was discovered in the bush in the morning by locals going to vote.
The other was killed along a narrow path whilst the teenage girl and another young man were killed inside there homes.
He said that it was obviously a gang attack, adding that the families of the slain had been informed while remains have also been evacuated by the police.
