Breaking: Former Local Government Chairman killed in Rivers State

A Former Local Government Chairperson has reportedly been murdered in Rivers State.

Pastor Emilia Nteh, a former local government Chairman of Andoni Local Government Area was said to have been killed when gunmen invaded her home in Ngo, the capital of the LGA.

This is coming two weeks after another former chairman of the council area, Monwan Etete of APC was gruesomely murdered by gunmen.

The National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uche Secondus hails from the LGA.

Nteh was also a former special adviser to the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.

Other unconfirmed reports say she was rescued from her attackers but sustained bullet wounds.

Details surrounding Nteh’s attack were not immediately clear, however, the ex-council chair was said to have been shot by unidentified gunmen who raided her home.
