Despite state of emergency, gunmen high jack another bus at Emohua-axis of East-West road

Gunmen, on Sunday, high jacked a bus filled with passengers at the Emohua-axis of the East-West road.

This is coming days after the Rivers State police command ordered a state of emergency on the road following killings and kidnapping by hoodlums along the road.

Theportcitynews gathered from reliable sources that the incident happened at about 4 pm in the evening.

According to a source, the driver of another company escaped from the hoodlums after his vehicle was shot at severally.

The identities of the persons who were abducted are yet to be known as at press time.

The PRO of the Rivers state police command, Nnamdi Omoni, denied knowledge of the attack, stressing that he is yet to be briefed on the matter.
