JUST-IN: CCT Adjourns Onnoghen’s Trial Indefinitely

The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has adjourned the trial of suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, indefinitely.

The Tribunal adjourned the proceedings at the resumed sitting on Monday, pending the determination of the application filed at the Court of Appeal.

Recall that President Buhari had last Friday suspended Onnoghen following an interim order by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) and immediately swore in Tanko Mohammed as Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.
