2 ladies shot dead in Aluu as cult related violence rises

Another shooting on Tuesday morning, the 22nd of January, by cult gangs in Aluu town, Ikwerre Local Government Area has left two persons dead and one critically injured.

Farmers who were on their way to farms in the early hours of Tuesday at about 6:00 am said they witnessed the killing of two ladies while a motorcycle rider was badly injured due to the gunshots.

Recall that three persons including a 19-year-old were also killed in a similar incident on Monday.

The commercial motorcyclist popularly called Okada was conveying the two ladies to work when a group of cult boys who were seizing motorbikes from their owners ordered them to stop.

The commercial motorcyclist reportedly refused to stop and in an attempt to escape from the cult boys, they rained bullets on the escaping trio which left the two female passengers dead and the motorcyclist seriously injured.

The witnesses disclosed that the bike man was immediately taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the shooting incidence by cult gangs which left three persons dead and a widower with three children of the ages of 5 and 3 critically injured on Monday, Theporcitynews gathered from the hospital where the victim is responding to treatment after a surgical operation which lasted for eight hours that the gunshot victim is in stable condition.

The doctor who carried out the surgical operation told our reporter that the victim is one out of thousands of gunshot victims by cult gangs brought to their hospital.

He termed the victim lucky.

He used the medium to call on all security agencies in the state to beef up security, adding that 95 out of 100% patients brought to their hospital are gunshot victims and that 98 out of 100% dead bodies deposited at their morgue are dead bodies of victims killed by cult gangs, ” and this is pathetic, it’s so frightening, you live every day in fear these days in this part of the world” he said
