UPTH CMD urges health workers to give their best

The Chief Medical Director, CMD of University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, Prof. Henry Ugboma has charged Doctors, Nurses and other hospital staff of Hospital to give patients the best and be sensitive when handling patients and other visitors to the hospital.

Prof. Ugboma noted this during the 2019 DEDICATION SERVICE of the hospital on Wednesday 16th January 2019.

He said the hospital management has decided to organise the prayer session to appreciate and worship God for improved healthcare delivery in the hospital and to rededicate the hospital to God Almighty.

He further said that the patients deserve the best from them and warned that the hospital management will not hesitate to sanction any Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist, Lab Scientist or any other hospital staff caught referring patients outside the hospital on services that can be provided in the hospital.

Rev Idika Mbah, Chaplain OSC University of Port Harcourt and other anointed men of God offered prayers for staff, patients, visitors and management of the hospital.
