Tina Amanda

Unconfirmed report reaching our desk says IKPENDU NYENKE and HENRY KING-CHUKU have been abducted by unknown gunmen in different locations in the State.

Our reporter gathered that IKPENDU NYENKE was kidnapped at gunpoint at Obelle community in Emohua Local Government Area on his way to his village in Ibaa community, by suspected hoodlums operating in that area, while HENRY KING-CHUKU was kidnapped three days ago around location junction, Mgbuoba axis, Port Harcourt, on his way to work and since then have not returned home.

Meanwhile, a family member of IKPENDU NYENKE who confirmed the incident to our reporter said he fears greatly that his brother may have been killed following a call from the kidnappers.

However, as at the time of filing this report, the Rivers state police command is yet to confirm the incidents as the command spokesman said he was yet to be briefed on the kidnaps.
