Gunmen behead native doctor in Khana

Cultists have reportedly killed two persons in Gwara community, Khana Local Government area.

One of the deceased, a native doctor popularly known as Boy Iboode was subsequently beheaded.

Community sources said the assailants of the native doctor left with his head after butchering him.

This, theportcitynews learnt, was due to the fact that the deceased native doctor was said to be rendering protective charm services to some cultists in the area.

No reason has been adduced for the murder of the second victim, though community members have called on government and security forces to intervene in the matter.

A community source who spoke to our correspondent stated that the killing of the native doctor has instilled fear in the hearts of the residents as people fear for their safety.

He said that the native doctor was known for his powerful charms, adding that those who beheaded him came prepared.

Nnamdi Omoni, police public relations officer in the state told our correspondent that he has not been briefed on the matter.
