Ahead of the Football Association Election in Rivers State, the Rivers Football Association has appointed and inaugurated Electoral Committee and Election Appeals committee members to conduct and oversee the Election.
The five-man Electoral Committee Members are;
Mr. Christian Udogu – Chairman
Mr. Chukwudi Ejimofor – Member.
Mr. Gloria Chu – Member.
Mr. Opuene Christopher – Member
Mr. Minaikiaa Angala – Secretary.
While the Three-Man Appeals Committee Members are;
Barrister Fenarisa Allison – Chairman.
Mr. Chuma Nnolin – Member.
Mr. Solomon Wokoma Innocent – Member.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Association, Mr. Benjamin Akubo stated that the 23 Local Government Football Councils and other stakeholders in football in the state will participate in the Election that is billed to take place on Wednesday, 30th January 2019.
Mr. Akubo charged the ELECTORAL COMMITTEE Members to organize a hitch-free election and in fairness to all contestants.
‘This Committee is expected to organize a hitchfree election in fairness to all contestants. The Election date is scheduled for 30th January 2019.
“The Secretariat will work side by side with you to provide the necessary information to enable you discharge this function” he said.
