First Mr. Universe pageant holds in Port Harcourt.

Port Harcourt on the 16th of December hosted the first ever Mr Universe Rivers State beauty pageant.

The Mr Universe Rivers event was hosted by Zetian Green, a Port Harcourt based entertainment organization at Vineyard place in G.R.A, Port Harcourt.

The event was graced by current beauty pageants including the current Miss. Rivers State University.

Speaking to TPCN reporter, Miss. Favour Pepple, the current Miss Rivers State University, expressed her joy and applauded the organizers of the Mr Universe Rivers.

She said though the event is being organized in other states and Port Harcourt for the first time is experiencing it, ” it’s no doubt a good one”.

The winner of the pageant Mr Universe Rivers State, Evans Ezekiel, a model and a 200 level chemistry student in the University of Port Harcourt, who hails from Bonny local government area of Rivers State, appreciated the organizers of the event. He promised to use the platform and his voice to positively influence the society.

The winner of Mr Universe Rivers also advised youths to pursue their dreams and passion.

He said ” whatever you feel like doing, do it, as far as it is legal. You don’t have to put your hands into illicit and dirty acts to survive. There are good jobs that youths can do. Education is great, but beside education, you have other passion/ talent, let it out, you can’t put all your hope in one basket.

Also, the CEO of Zetian Green, the organizers of the event, Mr Goodluck Ugo, said although the journey of making the event a reality was not an easy one, he still appreciate God and others who participated in making the event a reality.

Mr Ugo said the motive behind the event is to promote and empower young talents into ambassadors and to also help develop young Nigerian males that have the spark to represent brands.
