Eight Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs including other clubs from lower division will compete at the maiden Governor Wike Unity Soccer Competition scheduled to kick off on 15th of December in Port Harcourt.
Clubs like Abia Warriors, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Sunshine Stars, Akwa United FC and Bayelsa United will also be in the Garden City to participate at the soccer event.
Others are Rivers United FC, Delta Force FC, giant killer Cynosure FC and SKE FC.
The tournament is expected to end on 22nd of December 2018 in the city of Port Harcourt Rivers State, according to Bashir Badawiy who is one of the coordinators of the Unity Cup.
