Davido, Burna Boy, Ducan Mighty to headline Plugged Music Festival in Port Harcourt

As Port Harcourt continues to appeal to the world in terms of hosting of international events just as Nigerian music system continues to find its feet in a highly competitive ecosystem, Port Harcourt artists are beginning to have their voice heard.

As the third biggest market in the country after Lagos and Abuja, Port Harcourt City is currently going through a wave of prosperity.

Hometown hero, Burna Boy has been one of the most prolific artists in the country with decent shouts in the Album and Song of the Year conversations. Another hometown hero, Duncan Mighty’s influence finally cut through to the mainstream after years of local domination.

Plugged Music Festival- an event currently in its 2nd year is seeking to toast to the city’s continued success by putting on the city’s premier event of the festive period. After last year’s debut edition which was headlined by Flavor, 2018 will see Davido, Burna Boy and Duncan Mighty take the stage.

The event will take place on the 16th of December at Port Harcourt’s Pleasure Park
