Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, on Friday, announced the decision of the party to conduct fresh congresses in Rivers State.
He said the Supreme Court judgement in the case of Rivers State was clear that the congresses conducted by the Chief John Odigie-Oyegun-led National Working Committee was a nullity because they were conducted against a subsisting court order restraining the party from doing so.
According to Oshiomhole, “Democracy is a celebration of the rule of law, not the rule of might.”
