A protest has been reportedly carried out by members of the Rivers State All Progressives Congress over what they described as the incessant and flagrant disobedience of court order.

It was learnt that the Peter Odike led faction of the Rivers APC on Friday 12th October, 2018 staged a peaceful protest at the national party secretariat following what they described as ‘disobedience of the order of the court’ by the Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi’s faction of the party.

Speaking to TPCN correspondent, a house of Assembly aspirant from Omuma State Constituency, Engr. Noble Nwosu, held that the protest is a peaceful one and is geared towards ensuring that the party abides by the verdict of the court.

It would interest you to note that the federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt had pronounced a judging nullifying the Rivers APC Congresses. It was further learnt that the court decision by implication nullifies all indirect primaries as conducted by the Ojukaye led faction of the party.
