Police arrests murder suspects of generator repairer in Borokiri

Detectives at the Rivers State Criminal Investigation Department have arrested and detained three suspected cultist who murdered Chimaobi Christopher around Borokiri axis of old Port Harcourt township.

Chimaobi Christopher who was a generator repairer was stabbed to death with a broken bottle at Lawson street, Borokiri axis of Port Harcourt by gang of about five persons including one identified as Wisdom of which two are yet to be arrested.

The older brother to the deceased person, Chimeziem Christopher who confirmed the incident to our TPCN reporter at the premises of the
State CID said his younger brother was stabbed and confirmed dead by doctors at Braithwaite Memorial Hospital Port Harcourt.

Chimeziem described his late brother as hardworking, gentle and peace loving, adding that Chimaobi was known around his neighbourhood in borokiri as someone who minds his business.

Christopher called for justice over the murder of his brother to serve as a lesson to other criminals, stressing that himself and his late brother do not belong to any cult group.

A senior police officer in charge of the investigation team said the suspects have confessed and will be charge to court while efforts are still ongoing to apprehend the other murder suspects.
