There was a heavy dynamite explosion at the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress’ Secretariat situated close to Garrison Bus Stop along Aba Road, Port Harcourt.
Theportcitynews.com gathered that the explosion occurred at about 2pm today which caused mild fear and panic among party faithful who were at the secretariat in preparation for the governorship primary.
Eyewitnesses who spoke off record said the assailants were targeting some members of the party who were entering the party’s secretariat premises as at the time the explosion occurred.
Though no casualty was recorded, security operatives condoned off the area.
