The senator representing Rivers East in the National Assembly, Andrew Uchendu, has described the reappointment of Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, as the director-general of Buhari/Osinbajo Re-election Campaign Organisation as a reward of excellence, hard work, commitment and loyalty by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Uchendu, who is also the acting chairman, Senate Committee on Public Procurement, yesterday in Port Harcourt, through his media aide, Solomon Okocha, noted that the reappointment of the former Rivers governor showed the level of confidence Buhari has in Amaechi.
According to him “On behalf of the people of Rivers State, I am grateful to President Buhari for finding our son and leader, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, worthy of piloting the affairs of his re-election bid.
“What I can deduce from Amaechi’s re-appointment is the fact that President Buhari is a man who rewards excellence, hard work, commitment and loyalty.
“The President has spoken a thousand words with the singular act.’’
