Aiteo Cup: Obuah promises Rivers United 2m

The President of Go Round FC of Omoku, Bro Felix Obuah has charged Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt to win the 2018 Aiteo Cup competition.

Bro Felix Obuah who is also the chairman of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Rivers State said he would give the team the sum of two million Naira should they win the trophy.

Felix Obuah while receiving members of the Rivers State Football Coaches Association RSFCA in his office said he will continue to support the team in their quest to lift the trophy.

He, however, said that the team would receive the sum of one million Naira should they reach the semi-finals of the competition while they will get one point five million Naira if they reach the finals.

The 2018 Aiteo Cup competition will enter the group phase stage on Monday 24th September 2018 in four venues across the country.

Rivers United is grouped alongside Kano Pillars, Kwara United and Abia Warriors in group C of the competition and will play their matches at the Agege Stadium Lagos.

The group stage of this year’s Aiteo Cup will hold from Monday, September 24 to Friday, September 28.
