Gladys Nweke

The All Progressive Congress, APC has described what took place on August 18, during the be-election to fill the vacant Port Harcourt Constituency 3, House of Assembly seat, as an expression of the desire for change.

He said whereas “there were incidents of shootings orchestrated by thugs allegedly sponsored by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The electoral process witnessed a large turnout of voters who were desirous to change bad governance”

While calling on Effanga to announce the result of the bye-election, he commended the constituents for voting massively for the APC candidate, Dickens Worlu.

He also congratulated the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, the State Chairman of the party, Ojukaye Flag-Amachree, leaders of the Party in Port Harcourt constituency 3, APC members across the state and the electorate for the victory at the poll and expressed optimism that Worlu will be declared winner of the by-election, despite attempts by the State Governor Nyesom Wike and PDP to truncate the electoral process.
