Gunmen abduct widow of slain Rumuolumeni DPO, jobseeker

A twenty-three-year-old girl has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen operating around Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The kidnapped victim is said to have fallen to a trick of fake job employment at the local government council orchestrated by her abductors.

A senior officer attached to IGP Monitoring Unit in the State who confirmed the development to our reporter said that the kidnappers had promised the girl employment opportunity at the local government council and abducted her when she finally showed up for the job.

However, the whereabouts of the kidnapped victim is still unknown and no contact has been made between the family and the kidnappers as the security operatives continue investigations into the matter.

Meanwhile, a senior police personal attached to Rumuolumeni division also hinted our reporter that the wife of the late DPO of the division Mrs KINGSLEY has been kidnapped.

Our source said the whereabout of the wife of the late Rumuolumeni Divisional Officer has remained unknown one week after she was reportedly kidnapped at gunpoint at her husband hotel.
