Amachree not responsible for the destruction of Abe’s office – Mannah

Owing to the accusations and counter-accusations trailing the Saturday’s vandalization of the factional Secretariat of the All Progressive Congress, member representing Ahoada-East Constituency 1 in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Mannah has denied allegations that the faction loyal to the Minister of Transportation was responsible for the destruction of the premise and subsequent siege laid in the area.

The denial came after speculations raged during the weekend that the factional Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress APC, Hon Ojukaye Flag-Amachree was the brain behind the destruction of the APC Secretariat belonging to Senator Magnus Abe’s faction.

However, Martins Mannah in his reaction stated that such allegations were malicious and mischievous and urged members of the public to disregard them as they are capable of heating up the polity.

He noted that the APC in the state has just one recognized state executive led by Ojukaye Flag-Amachree, adding that any other structure is illegal.

Mannah stressed that anybody could have destroyed the structure with the intention to lay false allegations and also to frame Amachree up.

Mannah further stated that all attempts by distractors to derail the activities of the party under the leadership of minister of transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi will be resisted as the party is poised to be victorious come 2019.
