Akpabio’s aides resign

Four Personal Aides to the Senate Minority Leader and Senator representing Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District have tendered their resignation letters.

The four aides represent the four federal constituencies of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.

Their position was disclosed during a meeting of stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District in Abak.

Led by Barr. Utibe Nwoko, Senior Legislative Aide, others are; Chief (Barr) Moses Akpan, Kufre Ini-ima, Prince Ukandu Ukpe.

They disassociated themselves from any planned defection of the Senator to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pledged their unalloyed support to the reelection of Governor Udom Emmanuel in 2019.
