Prison Boss Commends Synergy among Security Agencies in Rivers State

The Controller General of Prisons, Ja’afaru Ahmed has applauded the collaboration of security agencies in tackling security challenges in Rivers State.

This was contained in his goodwill message which was delivered by the Controller of Prisons in charge of Medicals Dr Paul Wakama.
The Prison boss made this call during the monthly interactive session /happy hour which was hosted by the Nigerian Prisons Service, Rivers State Command.

The Controller of Prison, Mr Timothy Olumide Tinuoye expressed his delight in the understanding and relationship shared among agencies in Rivers State and called on other states to emulate this uncommon synergy of security agencies existing in the state.

The General Officer Commanding, 6 Div, Nigerian Army, chaired the occasion and encouraged officers and men of all agencies to build on the established synergy of the interactive session.

The highlights of the event was a joint speech from heads of all agencies, which was aired by the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command, CP MA Zaki, and the presentation of souvenirs.

The event was attended by all Security Agencies in Rivers State, and the Controller of Prisons, Akwa Ibom State Command, Mr Odita Alex who was invited to witness the uncommon synergy in Rivers State.

Others are the Governors of all Prisons in Rivers State; In charge of Port Harcourt Maximum Prison, DCP F Lawrence, In charge Ahoada Prison, DCP M Okorie, In charge of Degema Prison, DCP G Okoro, and In charge Elele Prison Farm Center, DCP I Imo.
