Mba Boy: Eleme Council Chair says confidence restored.

The council chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Philip Okparaji, has praised security agencies in Rivers State for their role in curtailing the rise in insecurity in the state.

Okparaji also praised Governor Nyesom Wike, for ensuring that security threats in the state are dealt with especially for the killing of the notorious criminal Joe Mba aka Mba Boy and his three commanders a few days ago.

He noted that with the demise of Mba Boy, there will be a boost in investors’ confidence and a restore of peace and order in the area.

According to him “one of my agenda, when I came to power, was that we are going to restore the dignity of Eleme people and security in Eleme.

“And today let me thank the security agencies for their cooperation and partnership that has yielded a positive impact in Eleme. Four of these people that have been terrorizing Eleme land were gunned down in far away in Owerri.”

He warned criminals operating in the area to stop such nefarious acts or risk arrest.

Recall that Theportcitynews reported of the killing of the notorious cultist in Owerri by soldiers at the weekend
