The executive chairman Of Khana Local Government Area, Lahteh Loolo, has declared the Council’s readiness to eradicate all forms of insecurity in Bori Municipality and other parts of the Local Government.
Loolo made this known during a courtesy visit by the leadership of the students Union Government of Ken Saro Wiwa polytechnic Bori, led by it’s president, comrade Wilcox Ledeebari in the council’s conference hall on Thursday.
The Khana council Boss noted that his administration will partner with the management of the Ken Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic and the SUG to eradicate all forms of insecurity and criminality in the institution.
He, however, advised the students’ leadership to eschew all acts of criminality and social vices that are inimical to their studies, promising that his administration will appoint an adviser on student’s affairs to enable the council address problems facing Khana students in tertiary institutions.
The Council chairman while commenting on the issue of electricity, said two new transformers will be installed soon in Bori to enhance electricity supply.
Responding on behalf of the SUG, the President, Comrade Wilcox Ledeebari, congratulated the chairman and his vice on their victory and complained of insecurity of students in their institution due to operations by security agents in Bori township, and urged the Chairman to look into the matter.
