Police nab serial rapists in Etche

A group of notorious rapist who has continually harassed Corp members posted to Umuechem in Etche LGA have been arrested by the men of the Nigerian Police on Sunday.

Theportcitynews.com learnt that the rapist gang numbering about six young men had gone to the lodge of the female Corp members who live close to Umuechem market junction to rob and sexually assault them.

The young men, TPCN learned, was said to be responsible for several sexual assault incidents in the past.

Luck, however, ran out of them when a security man on guard spotted them upon gaining entry into the premises.

The guard subsequently tipped off operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) stationed in the area, who promptly arrived at the scene and apprehended four of the men while two escaped.
