Etche murder-suicide: Family to consult juju priest.

The family of a middle-aged man who allegedly hanged himself on the 12th June 2018 at Egwi in Etche Local government area of Rivers State, has finally come out to say that their son was murdered.

A member of the family who spoke to TPCN on the condition that his name will not be in print, said that they believe the young man was murdered and did not commit suicide as widely reported.

To this this regard, he said that the family has decided to follow the traditional way and consult a powerful juju priest in a bid to find out who killed their brother, why and to get justice.

“It is believed that the deceased spirit is hovering around the community and as such, needs justice for it to rest,” he said.

He added that it is strange for a young man like that to have committed suicide, saying that he exhibited no traces of such prior to his death.

” We are not going to take this sitting down” he said.

As at the time of filing this report, the shrine to be consulted is yet to be made known by family members of the deceased.
