APC Chieftain Endorses Wike For Second Term

Gladys Nweke

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and Lawmaker Representing Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Barrynada Mpigi, has endorsed Governor Nyesom Wike for a Second term in office.

Mpigi who spoke to Newsmen on Saturday Morning in his Hometown Koroma Tai, after casting his vote at the ongoing Chairmanship and Councillorship election in Rivers State, said except the APC gives its Ticket to an Ogoni Man in 2019, all Ogoni People will Vote for Nyesom Wike as Governor.

“My name is Hon Barry Mpigi, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress. As you can see, I just finished casting my vote. The APC refused to participate in the election because of the endless crisis that rocks the party”

“Today we’re not talking about the party but we’re looking at dividends of democracy. His Excellency, Chief Barr Nyeson Wike has performed very well and because Tai people are not ungrateful people, we have said that he deserves another tenure.

” The only reason why Tai people may do a rethink is if the gubernatorial ticket is giving to any Ogoni son. We don’t need deputy governor or whatever.

” At the absent of the gubernatorial ticket for an Ogoni son, I hereby urge Tai people to support Wike till 2023″
