7 killed in cult war as security personnel arrest 32.

A combined team of security personnel has arrested at least 32 persons suspected to be cultists terrorizing Obosi town in Anambra State.

Theportcitynews.com gathered that not less than 7 youths have been murdered by the cultists in a cult war that engulfed the town 72 hours ago.

The crack team of security personnel made up of Police, NDLEA, Army, Navy, DSS, and Obosi local vigilante was coordinated by the state government through the ADC to Anambra State governor, Willy Obiano.

A reliable source knowledgeable about the matter told theportcitynews.com on the phone that the PG Obosi community, the SA to Gov Obiano and other patriotic indigenes of Obosi assisted the crack team who stormed Obosi with over 10 trucks to engage the cultists.

Meanwhile, the team successfully arrested a lady who is said to be the leader of the cult gang.

According to our source, 31 males and a female were rounded up in their hideout. An attempt by the only female in the gang who is the leader to escape failed as the crack team successfully arrested her.

Those arrested will likely be paraded by the police and arraigned before a court on Monday to face justice.
